On 15 November 2021, the Chairman of the Association of the Bulgarian Aviation Industry (ABAI) Todor Ivandjikov will take part in the European Drone Forum 2021. This year’s edition of the large-scale event will take place in Cologne and is organised by UAV DACH e.V. – the association of the unmanned aviation industry with the assistance of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
The European Drone Forum 2021 has been taking place since 2018 and brings together all stakeholders of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle sector in all its aspects, namely: legal, operational, safety and technical.
During the Forum various discussions will be held, including:
- On the implementation of harmonised European laws, in particular discussion on IR (EU) 2019/947 on the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS)
- Planned airspace integration of the U-Space system
EASA has invited representatives from all kinds of companies in the aviation sector in Europe to share their experience to date. During the conference, guests will be introduced to the latest technologies in the UAV sector. A hands-on will also be presented on the different systems, networks and capabilities. The latter will be a prerequisite for discussions with real systems and services.
