Connectivity is not just a concept. It is a real force.
The Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association is pleased to present the participation of Todor Ivandjikov, President of BAIA, in Green Transition Forum 6.0.
From 1 to 5 June 2026, European leaders, policymakers and experts will gather in Sofia to discuss one of the key drivers of Europe’s competitiveness — connectivity.
Todor Ivandjikov will take part in the discussion on how Southeast Europe can move faster, more efficiently and in a more integrated way — not only as a strategy, but as real action.
Main Panel: “Building High-Speed Connectivity in Southeast Europe”
1 June, 12:00 – 13:00, Main Stage
The topic goes beyond infrastructure. The focus is on real implementation, sustainability and integration between countries.
Next Key Discussion: “Accelerating Pan-European Transport Corridors: Rail Transport, Multimodal Integration and Freight Flows”
Here, the conversation moves from vision to concrete solutions addressing the real challenges facing connectivity in Europe.
The forum brings together an exceptionally strong line-up of European leaders and experts, including Christos Dimas, Mario Mauro, Jason Pellmar, as well as representatives of the World Bank Group.
The discussions will also feature Dan Nica, Manyu Moravenov, Stavros Papastavrou, Cristian Bușoi, Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, Munir Hassan and Tsvetelina Penkova, together with regional experts such as Roumen Markov and Andrej Lepavcov.
This makes the forum a real platform for dialogue between institutions, business and innovation ecosystems across Europe.
Why it matters: At BAIA, we believe that:
Europe’s competitiveness depends on how well and how fast we are connected. Aviation, drones, new air technologies and transport are not separate sectors — they are part of a unified ecosystem that must develop together.
