The Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association (BAIA) will have a representative at the annual international scientific conference to be held tomorrow at the Georgi Benkovski Air Force Academy. It will take place today, October 8, on the occasion of the Bulgarian Air Force Day (October 16). Co-organizers are the Faculty of Aviation, the Department of Natural Sciences and Humanities and the Bulgarian Air Force. Chairmen of the conference are: Brigadier General Eng. Julian Radoisky – Head of the Georgi Benkovski Air Force Academy and Major General Dimitar Petrov – Commander of the Air Force.
In the accompanying program of the conference is planned the opening of a brand new classroom where the CATIA software will be used. This is a multi-platform system for automated design (CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM) developed by the French company Dassault Systèmes and will be of assistance to students in engineering and technical specialties. The subscription to the system was donated by the company of the BAIA President Todor Ivandjikov – International Aviation Services (IAS), which is provided by the company Haykad Infotech – Plovdiv.
In the annual scientific conference of Georgi Benkovski Air Force Academy three plenary reports are planned:
