CAPTAIN MILEN MILANOV LOST HIS BATTLE WITH CANCER, LET’S HELP HIS FAMILY!

On October 3, our longtime pilot Captain Milen Milanov left us after suffering from cancer. His career passed through the airlines “Balkan”, “Bulgaria Air”, Lion Air and Oman Air, and according to information of BAIA, recently he was about to start flying for Cargo Air. Captain Milen Milanov was born on October 10, 1965 in Silistra. He graduated from the Georgi Benkovski Air Force Academy in 1989 with a degree in Aviation Engineering and Technologies.

His career began on May 3, 1989 with “Balkan Airlines”, for which he flew until December 10, 2002. From April 21, 2004 to November 18, 2011 he was a pilot for “Bulgaria Air”. From October 1, 2012 to May 17, 2014 he flew for Lion Air, and from July 18, 2014 until now he has been a pilot for Oman Air. He has a total of nearly 9,500 flight hours in aircraft such as An-24, Tu-154 and Boeing 737. After his death, Captain Milanov left two children who need our help. In this regard, a campaign has been initiated to help his family.
