Today, once again, we did not simply talk about the future — we met it face to face.
In the eyes of 250 young people who were not just listening, but searching.
Searching for direction. For meaning. For a dream they could make their own.
At the invitation of the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa and Mayor Eng. Nikolay Rashkov, together with the concessionaire of Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport, represented by Executive Director Petar Petrov and Antoni Tarnitsov, and the Principal of “M. V. Lomonosov” Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Ms. Milena Dimitrova, we created not just an event — but an experience that began on the runway… and reached the heart.
At the airport itself, the students touched history — the true, living history of Bulgarian aviation, told by someone who knows it from the inside.
Petar Petrov did not simply speak about the airport — he showed them that every runway carries memories, efforts, and dreams waiting to be continued.
Then, in the hall of the Municipality, came the moment when words turned into direction.
Todor Ivandjikov, Chairman of the Management Board of BAIA, spoke about the choice to create. About the responsibility to lead. About the fact that aviation is not just an industry — it is a mindset, discipline, and character.
And that true decisions begin where fear ends.
Nikolay Kalaydzhiev, a five-time world record holder, did not simply tell a story. He showed a path.
A path with no shortcuts. Only hard work, falls, pain, doubt… and that inner voice that says: “Keep going.”
And when you hear it strongly enough — you begin to fly.
Nikolay Lazarov from Tempest Systems opened the door to the future — to unmanned aviation, technologies, and a world where boundaries are no longer geographical, but exist only in the mind.
We spoke about manned and unmanned aviation.
About what it means to be a bird in flight.
But also about something even more important — that even the highest flight begins with a single spark.
From desire. From courage. From light.
Because everyone needs a light to guide them.
But even more than that — everyone needs to believe that they can shine on their own.
BAIA believes that the future of aviation is not only in technology.
It is in people.
In those who ask questions today.
And will give the answers tomorrow.
Today, we saw such young people in Gorna Oryahovitsa.
And we know one thing — the flight has already begun.
We thank all partners for their trust, the teachers for their efforts, and the students — for being there. Truly.
Because everything begins with one thought: “I can.”
And from there — the sky is not a limit.
It is a direction.
