A successful conclusion to nearly 10 years of efforts!
One of Bulgaria’s largest companies for civil aviation aircraft maintenance has chosen Burgas for a major investment!
On a 74-decare site, the company will build one of the largest hangar complexes in the country, with capacity for seven production lines.
The investment amounts to BGN 120 million and will create 500 highly qualified jobs in the first phase, reaching 1,500 jobs upon full completion.
In addition, the construction of an aircraft engine repair plant worth BGN 30 million is also planned.
Today, we officially launched the initiative with the signing of an agreement between the Sliven Diocese and Electra Trans Global Ltd. for the land on which the large-scale complex will be built.

The project envisages the construction of a hangar complex with capacity for seven production lines, including an adjoining apron, access roads, workshops, a training centre, staff facilities, parking areas, and other supporting infrastructure.
The new maintenance complex is expected to become operational within three years.
The company currently provides maintenance services for aircraft types including Airbus A320 CEO, Boeing 737 Classic/NG, and Boeing MD-80 Series.
The establishment of such a modern facility on the territory of Burgas Airport will make it attractive to new airlines, which in turn will lead to the expansion of the region’s transport and tourism opportunities.
We have been working on this project for years, as, in addition to securing a large site near Burgas Airport, a key factor in the decision-making process was the availability of qualified personnel.
That is why, in 2019/2021, we launched a new specialty — “Aircraft Maintenance” — at the Mechanical Engineering Vocational School in Burgas. Students from the first graduating class are already working in the company.
