The Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association (BAIA) was represented at the Viet Nam – Bulgaria Tourism Forum 2026, held today, 24 April 2026, and organised by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Bulgaria.
We are proud to share that the participation of the Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association (BAIA) in the Viet Nam – Bulgaria Tourism Forum 2026 was a great success.
The Chairman of the Management Board of BAIA, Todor Ivandjikov, presented Bulgaria’s vision for the connection between aviation and tourism, highlighting the role of innovation, the low-altitude economy, and new technologies in the development of international partnerships.
The event created real opportunities for:
• new contacts with institutions and businesses from Viet Nam
• future joint initiatives in tourism and transport
• expanding Bulgaria’s presence in the Asian region
Interest in the presentation was exceptionally high, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, confirming ABAI’s strong role as a driving force behind international cooperation.
We continue moving forward with even greater confidence and a clear vision for development.
The Forum is an important opportunity for:
• building new international partnerships
• connecting aviation and tourism as key economic sectors
• discussing sustainable models for development and connectivity between the two countries
BAIA presented its vision for the role of aviation and the low-altitude economy as drivers of growth, mobility, and international exchange.
We continue working to position Bulgaria as an active partner in the global aviation and tourism ecosystem.
