A press conference will be held on 7 July at 13:30, at which HANDS ACROSS THE SKIES.It is organised in cooperation with the Bulgarian Red Cross, our other member airline GullivAir and partners from the UK and Ukraine.
In connection with the ongoing war in Ukraine, we decided to take a joint initiative to help the most innocent and at the same time the most affected, namely children. Aid for children in Ukraine has already been collected thanks to Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire, UK) based charities, which we at BAIA have joined. The supplies will be transported from London to Sofia by GullivAir aircraft, and from Sofia to Ukraine the land transport will be provided by the Bulgarian Red Cross.
The charity action HANDS ACROSSTHE SKIESwill take place under the motto “From our children to yours“. Because in addition to the aid, the campaign carries messages of “love, compassion and hope for peace” from children in 28 countries that cannot be ignored.
