This is my second flight from here. I was extremely happy with the service the first time. The check-in goes fast and the lines are not like other airports. We are from Plovdiv and it is very convenient for us to travel from this airport. I hope that flights to other destinations will be launched.”

From Rapsody Travel & Events assured that this will not be the only charter from Plovdiv to Hurghada. Zornitsa Taneva – manager of the tour operator commented :

Passengers were very enthusiastic about having the opportunity to fly from their hometown. We have just had a conversation with ABACS about flights to other destinations as well, so we think this is just the beginning of exciting offers for our customers.”

The flight was performed with an Airbus A321 aircraft configured to carry a maximum of 204 passengers (12 in business class and 192 in economy class), and the pilots were Captain Sasho Alexandrov and Captain Nikolay Braikov. The carrier delighted the passengers with colorful balloons and the youngest ones received plush gifts. Anelia Marinova – Operations Manager of Fly2Sky said:

We are very happy that we were able to realize the charter and fill the plane. The interest in this destination is very high indeed. We expect to launch other flights in the autumn. The airport has a huge potential to develop successfully not only because of its suitable geographical location but also because of the fast service it provides.”
