Unmanned Systems Bulgaria develops and implements air traffic management solutions for drone operations or as it is more commonly known Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM or U-space).
Our company will offer a service to all airspace users, drone operators, with U-space service providers delivering information about current drone operations in the air to air traffic controllers and vice versa, providing airspace information to the same operators so they can comply in real time.
Once we make progress on this solution, we will move forward with the integration of urban air traffic and real-time tactical deconfliction, enabling the safe transport of people and goods.
This service concept of our “Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy” will include, but not be limited to:
– Digital Flight Planning, Requests and Approvals;
– User Friendly Airspace Structure;
– Smartphone In-Air App Rules;
– Real Time Airspace Updates.
Work in the industry dates back to 2020 and we already have close contact with technology partners with the potential and capability to work with us on such a system.
Without any hesitation, we are one of the best prepared teams in the country when it comes to managing drone traffic or U-space. We aim to be the first to offer such a solution on the Bulgarian market.
Currently, Unmanned Systems Bulgaria offers training and consultation. It is an active participant in a number of initiatives and working groups regarding the integration of unmanned systems into air traffic and our daily lives. The most prominent are:
– Joint Authorities for Rulemaking in Unmanned Systems (JARUS) working group WG-SRM;
