⭕Nomination for “Global Dynamic Growth Partner” For successfully establishing international partnerships and expanding presence in foreign dynamic growth markets – Fly2Sky and Electra Airways
Fly2Sky is an example of successful implementation of an international strategy by concluding long-term contracts under the ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) model with leading airlines from different parts of the world. These partnerships include Transavia, AirBaltic, TAP Air Portugal , AirArabia, IcelandAir, AirSerbia. With these partnerships, Fly2Sky has demonstrated its ability to build strong and sustainable international relationships, strengthening its global presence by demonstrating impressive dynamism and sustainable development in the aviation sector. With the addition of a tenth aircraft in October 2024, the company is consolidating its position as a growing and innovative player in the industry.This includes: 8 Airbus A32 aircraft and 2 Airbus aircraft.
With the expansion of its fleet, Fly2Sky is significantly improving its ability to perform a wide range of operations, including:
-ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) contracts with leading international airlines, charter flights, flexible air transport solutions tailored to specific customer needs and dynamic entry into new markets.
Electra Airways
Electra Airways has taken a strategic step forward by becoming part of the newly established Vector Group, based in Tel Aviv. This merger provides Electra Airways with a unique opportunity to expand its reach in both Europe and the Middle East. Electra Airways continues to establish itself as a significant partner, bringing together expertise and vision for global expansion.
Fly2Sky and Electra Airways are demonstrating leadership and adaptability in the international aviation industry by creating sustainable partnerships and successfully entering new markets. This is an example of innovation, strategic planning and effective execution in the dynamic field of aviation.

Straplan deservedly receives the nomination “Air Infrastructure Modernizer” for its commitment and dedication to building modern, safe, compliant and efficient HEMS airports, as well as improving the infrastructure of Ruse and Gorna Oryahovitsa airports. Through its modern and innovative solutions, high professional standards, the company has established the role of aviation infrastructure as a foundation for security and economic development.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) deservedly occupies a leading position among the institutions that not only regulate the aviation industry, but also actively work for its development by introducing innovations and creating an enabling environment for innovation, such as the integration of innovative technologies, digitalization and AI (artificial intelligence).

Omega Aviation impresses with the following achievements: attracting global customers and investments, modernization and exclusivity, establishing Bulgaria as an attractive destination and corporate environmental responsibility with the introduction of 100% electric aircraft into its fleet. This step is part of the company’s commitment to neutralize its emissions by applying innovative and environmentally friendly technologies, focusing on strategic leadership, innovation and long-term commitment.
⭕“Visionary in design and sustainable manufacturing in the aviation industry”NIKI Rotor Aviation and Dronamics
This nomination is dedicated to the companies that work with inexhaustible energy, creativity and perseverance to design and create aviation technologies and products, regardless of the challenges they face. It honours innovators who combine ambition and hard work to create groundbreaking solutions that take the aviation industry to a new level. In aviation, design and manufacturing often face complex technical, environmental and regulatory challenges. Success requires not only technical expertise, but also resilience, vision and the ability to overcome numerous obstacles. This award highlights the contribution of companies that do not give up, but continue to put in the effort and resources to develop innovative concepts, unique design and vision, and turn them into reality.
⭕“Long-haul pioneer” – For GullivAir‘s continued efforts to develop and strengthen Bulgaria’s intercontinental air links through wide-body transport.
GullivAir is the first Bulgarian airline to introduce wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft for long-haul flights, demonstrating courage and vision in the development of intercontinental routes. The company offers direct flights to exotic and long-haul destinations such as Mexico, the Maldives and the Dominican Republic, putting Bulgaria on the aviation map for intercontinental travel.This creates new opportunities for the Bulgarian tourism market, promotes international exchange and improves the accessibility of long-haul destinations. GullivAir invests in comfort and quality of service for passengers, long-haul amenities, taking an active role in promoting Bulgaria as a starting point for long-haul travel.
⭕ Fastest growing cargo airline Compass Cargo Airlines
For exceptional growth and innovation in air cargo, including the introduction of the first Bulgarian Boeing 747-400. For rapid growth: Founded in 2021, Compass Cargo Airlines is rapidly expanding its fleet, including four Boeing 737-800SFs and one Boeing 747-400F.
In July 2023, the company introduces the first Bulgarian-registered Boeing 747-400F, becoming the 58th active operator of this aircraft type in the world.
From November 2024, Compass Cargo Airlines will operate scheduled cargo flights on the Liege-Sofia-Zhenzhou route, establishing its presence in the Chinese market. The company maintains close ties with Boeing and has an experienced team providing high quality and timely services on a global scale.

For a startup that has successfully built a network of customers across four continents, demonstrating innovation and sustainable growth in the aviation industry, proving its global applicability and adaptability to different markets. For rapid growth: the company has achieved significant expansion of its customer base in a short period, establishing itself as one of the top 5 software companies globally. For innovation: AeroSight offers innovative solutions in the field of flight data reading that meet the needs of the modern aviation industry. For technology leadership: developing solutions that improve the efficiency, safety or sustainability of the aviation sector. ⭕“Supporting the Future of Aviation” – For outstanding support of young talent in the aviation sector – IAS
For the third consecutive year, the active cooperation between IAS International Aviation Services and “Georgi Benkovski” Air Force Academy continues. With the partnership of Haycad Infotech, IAS purchased and provided free of charge for the use of the cadets at the Academy software licenses for a 3D CAD system at the top level in the world aviation.
The licenses provided by IAS will enable the young cadets to learn one of the world’s best 3D CAD platforms and build themselves as professionals who can confidently take on the challenges of the future.
IAS financially supports the setting of world records in aviation and the development of the young hopes of our science, which are the foundation on which we build our future specialists and visionaries.
Among our guests are Kiril Zulyamski, Grand Champion of the International Mathematics Competition World Mathematics Team Championship 2024 in Doha Qatar and his teachers and mentors: Ms. Vanya Danova and Ms. Nadezhda Buyuklieva from SMG “Paisii Hilendarski”.
